Creafin Credits, the first non-banking lending platform

WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO
'nv Creafin Credits' was established in December 2021. This represents a first, since 'Creafin Credits' is the first "non-banking lending platform" in Belgium.
In other words, mortgage loans will not be provided by traditional banks. In fact, the "funding," i.e., the funds used to grant mortgage loans, will be provided by institutional investors, such as pension funds and insurance companies.

“A win-win situation, in which investors get a good and sustainable return on their investment, while consumers can enjoy a credit solution on good terms"
OUR WORKING METHOD
For many years, funds have been acquired via an investment platform in the Dutch mortgage market, and the idea grew to launch this principle on the Belgian mortgage market as well.
This approach creates a win-win situation, in which investors get a good and sustainable return on their investment, while consumers can enjoy a credit solution on good terms with attractive and market-based interest rates.

This project is supported by several partners who, with their distinctive expertise and experience in the mortgage market, also play a key role.
Stater Belgium, for example, is responsible for managing the loan request after the deed has been drawn up. But there are also partners in other areas (such as legal affairs, reporting, ICT, etc.) who ensure that the organisation can function and grow optimally.

CREDIT SOLUTIONS
In April 2022, the FSMA granted Creafin Credits his status as a 'Belgian lender in mortgage credit'. This was a clearance for placing credit solutions on the market.
This led to the launch of the new product 'CreaStar' in May 2022. This is a credit solution with fixed and attractive interest rates and the option to borrow up to 100% quota. This represents a great addition to Creafin's existing credit solutions.
